Toshiba to give HD-DVD and Blu-ray to win the war ?

Serious press agency Reuters is relaying an anonymous source from Toshiba Corp. which could announce to give up HD-DVD, maybe later this week.Following on several announcement in favor of Sony Blu-ray (Time Warner Video, Wall Mart stores and Best Buy, NetFlix video rental) and that Microsoft could consider to move to Blu-ray for Xbox, Toshiba has slashed prices of HD DVD players, but the loss of retail support has hurt. CUDA for Mac OS X is available

Initial beta release of CUDA for Mac OS X posted today at the CUDA zone.The CUDA™ Toolkit is a C language development environment for CUDA-enabled GPUs. The CUDA development environment includes:
- nvcc C compiler
- CUDA FFT and BLAS libraries for the GPU Profiler
- gdb debugger for the GPU (alpha available in March, 2008)
- CUDA runtime driver (now also available in the standard NVIDIA GPU driver)
- CUDA programming manual NVidia
New DVDx InfoTool is out!

Following on DVDx Project Relaunched, we've released the very fist tool to help DVDx developers and users. DVDx InfoTool provides DVD structure (VTS, PGC, menus etc.) and video/audio/subtitle format from a DVD-Video (protected or not). The very first pre-release is DVDx InfoTool 0.9.1 and is a providing informations as ifo _dump and title_info from libdvdread. The informations can be displayed in 2 views: complete dump or "text" which filters out less useful detailed.
We're already preparing the 1.0.0 release which will display a 3rd view ("standard") with data formatted for a usage in a DVD ripper like DVDx encoder.
DVDx InfoTool runs on Windows, Linux and Mac OS X (Intel binaries provided). DVDx Project

Yes, we've done it! As I was mentioning in last months, we've been prepared to relaunch DVDx project: - more releases
- new DVDx 3 user experience
- new DVDx utilities to help DVDx users
- more open-source code to be published
- still sooner and faster for labDV VIPs
The first visible stuff is that I've migrated DVD source code repository from obslolete CVS to new SVN (Subversion).
Then I uploaded 2.6 to 2.10 source code to this new repository so is up-to-date.
